The credit broker connect clients in need of loans with banks and/or stockbrokers, in an advisory role. This service, with all its related and subservient activities, can only be performed in accordance with the law (D. Lgs. n. 141/2010). The credit brokerage implies the absence of a business partnership, employment or representation between the credit broker and the parties. All credit brokerage advisory activities, including connecting banks/stockbrokers with clients for the purpose of loaning money, are subject to restrictions under law. OAM is the official institution responsible for the supervision of loan brokers and financial agents; all brokers registered with the OAM are on their list of authorised agents. All credit brokers and financial advisers must be registered with the OAM before working with clients; all of whom must meet with the regulations stipulated by the OAM.
